Offering a new twist on double cab and crew cab versions of the 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 pickup, the new Silverado Rally Editions are set to start rolling into showrooms later this year. Two versions of the package -- Rally 1 and a more comprehensively enhanced Rally 2 - will be available, with ordering for Silverado double cab variants to start in early September and crew cab models the following month.

Opting for the Rally 1 kit brings a body-colored grille with a black bowtie, black door handles/mirror caps and two black rally stripes on the Silverado 1500 LS with LT variants also gaining 17-inch aluminum wheels. Stepping up to Rally 2 spec for the Silverado 1500 LT raises the equipment ante further, adding 22-inch black-finish alloy wheels and black tubular side steps plus all of the key items found in the existing All Star Package that brings a 10-way power driver seat, dual-zone climate control, tilt/telescoping steering column, remote start, backup camera, rear defroster and the eight-inch Chevy MyLink radio with built-in Wi-Fi hotspot and 4G LTE connectivity.

The 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 Rally 1 Package is priced at $1,140 before factoring in a $600 package discount that reduces it to a net $540 figure. The Rally 2 upgrade runs $7,160 on Silverado 1500s with the standard 285-horsepower/4.3-liter V6 and $7,260 on models with the optional 5.3-liter/355-horse V8. Dialing in the applicable $1,350 package discount drops those numbers to $5,810 and $5,910, respectively.
