2015 Acura TLX to start at $31,890

Unveiled in April at the New York Auto Show, the all-new 2015 Acura TLX performance luxury sedan will arrive in dealerships this August with a starting price of $31,890 for models equipped with the 2.4-liter/4-cylinder engine and $36,115 for versions fitted with the 3.5-liter V6. To help jump start sales of its new premium 4-door replacement for the existing Acura TL, the automaker has announced a TLX-specific Acura Advantage program that starts next week and continues throughout July and August. The promotion will allow buyers to take advantage of special lease and financing deals on the car as well as receive an additional $500 allowance towards the purchase of Acura Genuine Accessories.

To qualify for the TLX Acura Advantage program, a buyer must order the car by September 2nd and take delivery by October 31st. Part of the incentive package includes special deals through Acura Financial Services that will offer 36 month leases on a TLX 4-cylinder from $299/month or from $349/month on a V6 model, both with $2,499 down. Those looking to purchase a new TLX can get 1.9-percent APR financing on a 24- to 36-month contracts or 2.9-percent on 37-60 month terms. 

Lease extensions offered

Current Acura lessees may also qualify for up to a 3-month extension on their current contracts while awaiting the arrival of their new TLX. Finally, all TLX buyers will be eligible for the aforementioned $500 allowance towards the purchase of additional Acura Genuine Accessory items. Full details can be found at www.acura.com .

Beyond pricing and news of the Acura Advantage perks, Acura also released EPA numbers for the 2015 TLX lineup. Fitted with the 206-horsepower/4-cylinder engine, the front-drive TLX will be EPA rated at 24 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway. The 305-horse/V6-powered TLX carries 21/34 mpg ratings in front-drive form and 21/31 mpg marks when fitted with the optional Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system.
