Heading to 300 Nissan Commercial Vehicle dealerships in America starting early next year, the 2013 Nissan NV200 made its first appearance in full U.S. trim at Chicago. Already on sale in over 40 countries around the world, this work-oriented variant is being pitched as the new entry point for owners of cargo vans and small pickups who would really rather have a smaller and more-efficient alternative to their current larger, thirstier vehicles.
Powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine linked to Nissan's Xtronic CVT (continuously variable automatic transmission), the NV200 will offer "Mobile Office" functionality in both its S and SV configurations. Each version comes with numerous drive-focused standards and a comprehensive array of safety features. A wide range of enhancements headed by a Nissan Navigation System, Bluetooth wireless communications, XM Satellite Radio a RearView Monitor and telematics pre-wiring (Nissan Fleet Tracker) add even more personalization appeal. In addition to universal design features like low-effort sliding side doors and wide-opening rear doors, the body on the North American version of the NV200 has been stretched by 7.9 inches to add an extra measure of utility
