Not much is known about the next-generation 2013 Chevrolet TrailBlazer, including just where this "Global Midsize SUV" might eventually land. The miniature press release that accompanied a none-too-enlightening illo indicated that, like the just-introduced Chevy Colorado midsize pickup, the new TrailBlazer will be built on a similarly-scaled all-new platform created by GM do Brasil. Beyond that, we know this successor was designed to "combine the hauling and towing capability of an SUV with the ride comfort and efficiency of a crossover," and will be unveiled at the Dubai International Motor Show in mid-November and go on sale initially in Thailand early next year. The last-generation TrailBlazer saw its American sunset at the end of the 2009 model year, but with confirmation that the new Chevrolet Colorado will be sold in the U.S., it's possible we might see the TrailBlazer or some other non-Chevrolet variation on the theme turn up here at some point.
