Heading to showrooms in November, the 2013 BMW X1 Powder Ride Edition is a limited-run variant inspired by the BMW Concept K2 Powder Ride show vehicle. While a bit more real-world than its one-off sibling, the X1 Powder Ride Edition brings plenty of its own distinctive touches to the go-anywhere game, including a unique exterior graphics package and loads of standard snow-spec accessory items.
Offered in Black, Arctic White, Mineral Grey and Glacier Silver (sorry, the Valencia Orange Metallic seen in these images won't be available on series-build models), the BMW X1 Powder Ride comes with a full line of xLine trim bits, 18-inch light-alloy wheels and a custom roof rack and roof box. Interior tweaks add a multifunction sport steering wheel, special fabric/leather upholstery, all-weather floor/cargo mats and a ski/snowboard bag with unique graphics. As a bonus, the standard roster also includes a pair of K2 LTD Powder Ride skis that are exclusive to the X1 Powder Ride Edition.
Available this winter only, the 2013 BMW X1 Powder Ride Edition will be offered both xDrive28i and xDrive35i configurations. Pricing will be released closer to the on-sale date.
