Celebrating a quarter century of the automaker's V12 engine tradition, the 2013 BMW 760Li V12 25 Years Anniversary Edition will be making its way into the hands of a select few U.S. customers starting early next year. Only 15 of these limited-run, special-order commemorative flagship sedans will be produced by BMW for the U.S. market.
Although buyers of the 2013 BMW 760Li V12 25 Years Anniversary Edition can choose from the complete range of 7 Series exterior colors, the sole interior trimout will consist of a bespoke BWW Individual package matching premium Champagne Merino Leather set off by exclusive black accent piping and black floor mats/rear footrests that feature contrasting Champagne piping. A Champagne Alcantara headliner, Anthracite Alcantara rear parcel shelf and black leather pillar trim complete the upholstery upgrades while BMW Individual Piano Black wood accents on the dash and steering wheel and "V-12 25 Years Edition" badging on the door sills, headrests and iDrive controllers round out the custom interior bits. Other unique features in the V12 25 Years Edition include Shadowline exterior trim, 20-inch BMW Individual 301 alloy wheels wrapped in performance tires and a dual-screen rear-seat entertainment system that includes its own iDrive controller unit.
BMW made no changes to the 760Li's V12 powertrain for this premium package. It retains the standard 535-horsepower/6.0-liter Twin Turbo engine and 8-speed automatic transmission, a combo that can send the 7 Series sprinting from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds. Pricing of entry for the 2013 BMW 760Li V12 25 Years Anniversary Edition starts at $159,695 -- about $20,000 more than a baseline 2013 BMW 760Li.
