A focused expansion of its existing model lineup aimed at upscale, active-lifestyle buyers, the 2012 Ram Laramie Limited makes its official debut at the Chicago Auto Show. According to Fred Diaz, President and CEO, Ram Truck Brand - Chrysler Group LLC, this latest, range-topping variant "is designed to meet the high expectations of affluent pickup truck buyers looking to combine capability with elegance." On sale during the second quarter of this year, the new Ram Laramie Limited will be available in 1500 (1/2-ton), 2500 HD (3/4-ton) and 3500 HD single- and dual-rear-wheel (1-ton) spec as well as Crew Cab/Mega Cab body styles, two-wheel drive/four-wheel drive and short/long-wheelbase configurations.
Key exterior changes on the Ram Laramie Limited start with a body-color front fascia, chrome grille surround with Ram Sport-style billet inserts, subtle brightwork accents, tubular side steps and specific "Limited" badging. The 1500 Laramie Limited gets body-color bumpers and shares 20-inch polished and painted forged aluminum wheels with the Laramie Sport while the 2500/3500 HD Limiteds are fitted with 17-inch full-polished rims and get chrome bumpers when finished in Bright White or Bright Silver Metallic.
Inside, the Ram Laramie Limited features full premium leather trim, highlighted by seats covered in Dark Slate Natura Plus hides. A distinctively styled gauge cluster, Piano Black center stack accenting, ambient LED cabin lighting, brushed- silver sill plates and premium Berber carpeted floor mats further add to the upscale character which is suitably reinforced by standard features that include a navigational radio, remote start, back-up camera, power-adjustable pedals with memory, heated steering wheel, front ventilated and front/rear heated seats.
