With mileage-maxing features like a shutter in the lower grille that opens at low speeds to improve engine cooling but closes at freeway speeds for improved aerodynamics, Chevrolet expects the 2011 Chevy Cruze ECO variant to eek into the 40-highway-mpg club. Look for the Cruze to arrive this fall at prices competitive with Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla.
