Adding a bit more enthusiast appeal to its flagship sedan line, the 2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sport made its debut in New York with a measured handful of cosmetic and functional enhancements. Set to arrive at dealers this August, this latest variation on the Kizashi theme will only be available on upline GTS and SLS trim levels.
Bespoke exterior cosmetics on the Sport-spec model include a bolder, chrome-accented front fascia and lower grille, side sills and a decklid spoiler along with custom 18-inch lightweight alloy wheels. The ride height also has been dropped by 10 millimeters (0.4-inch) to further lower the center of gravity and add a bit more edge to the Kizashi's already impressive handling. Key changes inside include a sport steering wheel with perforated leather handgrips and contrast stitching on vehicles with leather interior appointments. Pricing for the 2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sport package won't be announced until closer to its on-sale date.
