Following hot in the tire tracks of the 2010 Challenger Plum Crazy Limited Editions that debuted in Detroit last month, the Dodge Boys decided to see if the performance world was ready to start thinking pink and unleashed this latest variation on the theme: the 2010 Dodge Challenger Furious Fuchsia Limited Editions. Like their purple predecessors, these high-profile Challengers will be available in either Classic R/T form with a 5.7-liter/376-horsepower Hemi V8 or in STR8 guise, fitted with a 6.1-liter/425-horse version of Mopar's legendary motivator. Both will share the same Furious Fuchsia Pearl Coat paint and Pearl White leather performance seats trimmed in Dark Slate Grey with Furious Fuchsia accent striping/stitching, but have model-specific exterior graphics and badging. Although 20-inch wheel sizes also are common, the alloys on the R/T Classic are a polished aluminum "heritage" design while the STR8 wears unique SRT forged-aluminum alternatives with Satin Black accents.

Although customer demand will likely play a significant role in determining exactly how "limited" the unspecified production numbers will be for the R/T Classic version of the Furious Fuchsia Challenger, Dodge will only build 400 of the primo SRT8 variant, all duly validated with a serialized dash plaque. Pricing for the 2010 Dodge Challenger R/T Classic Furious Fuchsia Limited Edition is $35,140 while the 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8 Furious Fuchsia Limited Edition starts at $45,150. Both will be available for order in March at Dodge dealers across the country.
