Ready to pick up where its predecessor left off, the second-generation NISMO 370Z will arrive at Nissan dealerships in June. Developed by Nissan North America's Specialty Vehicles Group in conjunction with its long-time conversion partner, Autech Japan, the hottest performing Z-car storms onto the scene looking every bit as quick as it is. Aggressively styled front/rear fascia and side-sill treatments plus a functional rear spoiler are complemented by unique 19-inch lightweight RAYS alloy wheel wrapped in Y-rated Yokohama ADVAN Sport tires -- 245/40s up front and 285/35s in the rear. Output of the standard 3.7-liter V6 gets bumped from 322 to 350 horsepower and torque moves up from 270 to 276 lb-ft, thanks to a revamped computer control unit and freer-flowing exhaust system. All of that motivation is shipped to the rear wheels via Nissan's slick six-speed manual transmission with its unique "SynchroRev Match" capability that effectively optimizes every downshift. To properly round out this no-option factory-tuner package, the springs/shocks/stabilizer bars have been stiffened to full NISMO spec to help drivers make best use of the additional power and grip.
