2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8: More Photos, More Highlights

The much-anticipated Challenger (available only in SRT8 strength to start) features a 6.1-liter HEMI V8 good for 425 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. Dodge's "performance targets" include zero-to-60-mph sprints of the low five-second variety and quarter-mile times less than 14 seconds. The Challenger SRT8 will be available in orange, silver or black and offer such modern luxuries as Chrysler's comprehensive MyGIG infotainment system. Muscle madness begins Spring 2008 at a starting MSRP of $37,995, while less expensive, less powerful Challengers will follow. Click through the gallery to see and know more.
