Chevy Impala Turns 50

Beyond its four doors and bow-tie badging, the current Impala has little in common with its iconic forebearers of the 60s and 70s. When any nameplate survives for 50 years, though, it's cause for celebration. In this case, the party takes the shape of a special-edition Impala LT, offered in Black Granite or Red Jewel, with 18-inch alloy wheels and a "sport" suspension. The 50th Anniversary Impala is further distinguished by two-tone leather seating with 50th Anniversary embroidered logos, ebony carpet and floor mats and a rear wing spoiler.
