The
Chevrolet Traverse follows the Saturn Outlook,
GMC Acadia and
Buick Enclave as the fourth model wrung from GM's well-received new(ish)
crossover platform. The forward-looking design promises to prove more polarizing than the others, but we wouldn't argue with someone who called it the most attractive of the four. The seven- or eight-passenger Traverse will offer a full complement of modern conveniences, and with its 281-horsepower, 3.6-liter V6, a claimed cruising range of more than 500 miles. The Traverse arrives Fall 2008 at a price expected to start in the upper $20,000 range.
