2008 Scion tC Release Series 4.0: All Dressed Up with No Extra Go

It seems appearance over performance is a running theme at the Chicago Auto Show, with a number of cars sporting flashy new features but no additional horsepower. Such is the case with Scion's latest tC, the Release Series 4.0. Scion's dress-up treatment includes Galactic Gray paint, a DAMD body kit and upper grille, gray and black suede-like Alcantara seats and a RAZO leather and dark wood shift knob. The whole package tacks on an additional $2,770 to the car's $17,000 base price. Look for the Release Series 4.0 to arrive in Scion dealerships this March.
