2009 Dodge Journey: Kid-friendly Crossover

Posted 1/23/2008 4:13 PM

Replete with available third-row seating, a slew of storage bins and a variety of clever convenience options, the Dodge Journey comes across as the minivan of mid-size crossovers. The second row offers dual integrated child booster seats, both rear rows fold flat and a full list of electronic goodies includes a rear-seat DVD system and Chrysler's comprehensive MyGIG infotainment system. Available powertrain upgrades include V6 power, a six-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The Journey arrives early in 2008 at a starting price in the mid-$20,000 range.
