The tenth iteration of the Lancer Evolution and the third offered in America, the long-awaited "EVO Ten" combines a more flexible 295-horsepower 2.0-liter turbo engine, a sophisticated new high-performance AWD system that can shift torque from front to rear and side to side, and an available dual-clutch transmission that's quicker-shifting than a true manual but offers a convenient automatic mode. With more low-end torque and more interior amenities, the EVO X promises improved performance on both the track and the street. Expect it to arrive in early 2008 with an MSRP starting in the low $30,000 range.
