On the road, the 2013 Cadillac XTS strikes an admirable balance between ride comfort and handling ability. The XTS tackles dilapidated pavement and other road deformities with incredible poise, thanks in part to its standard Magnetic Ride Control suspension system that makes 1,000 dampening adjustments every second. Up to this point, Magnetic Ride Control was utilized exclusively for GM's high-end sports cars, but the platform's inherent flexibility permitted Cadillac engineers to custom tailor the suspension system for high levels of comfort.

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 5,000
overall rating 5 of 10rating detailsPros: "Comfortable seats; cooling seats"
Cons: "Technology is truly awful; needs more power"

"The car is just... meh for me. It could use more horsepower (or fewer lbs); it could use some refinement in steering and better use of space (door compartments for storage, etc.); and the technology system is just horrendous. I've had nothing but problems with it- the screen would just turn off so I couldn't use navigation or the radio for days on end. Of course, by the time I got in for service, it wouldn't replicate it). One time, I started the car and the volume went to max and wouldn't turn down. It's not a BAD car... but you can do a lot better, particularly at this price point. It's also super long and boatish."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 1,300

Cons: "Could use more power"

"I delayed my purchase of the XTS until December when Platinum models with the driver assist package became available. What I got was worth the wait. I've been very pleased with the car. I had no problem getting familiar with the CUE features. The Ipad that came with the car was very helpful in learning how to use the CUE. Practically all of my driving is on city streets with very little on expressways, so I've had trouble reaching the mileage estimates cited by Cadillac. The only problem I've experienced is that the glove box door sticks from time to time. I expect this is something the dealer can fix when I take the car in for service."
