"Even though this car was introduced in 2004, it still looks fresh today. After almost a year of ownership of a 2008 Alpine Edition, I simply have nothing bad to say. Great mileage 27-29 highway, 0-defects, head turning style, quality parts, great audio, stunning performance. Although it shares many mechanical components of a Corvette, it just feels different. More elegant, more substantial and impressive. Contrary to the 2 Corvettes I have owned in the past, the XLR doesn't get boring or start to feel cheap and rattled. Hard to believe that they come from the same factory. I would highly recommend this car, but hammer the dealer price to get a real value."
Pros: "Great ride, performance, luxury, large trunk"
Cons: "Interior space is a true two seater,"

"I love my XLR. It was the best purchase. Quality all the way around. Cadillac out did themselves. I would recommend this car to anyone who wanted a luxury convertible. I have owned various convertibles and driven many luxury vehicles for comparison."
"I wasn't looking for a 2 seater but when the salesman coaxed me to test drive it I fell in love with the XLR. It has every bell and whistle imaginable and is the most comfortable ride ever. I don't even feel like I'm driving a sportscar because it's so spacious inside. When the top is up the trunk so huge I can put my 91 yr. old mom's walker in the trunk and she loves riding with the top down. Passerby's yell out that they love my car and so do I, although I feel a little over-indulgent. I still haven't seen another one on the road. Definately a good beachside Florida car."
