Pros: "Fun to drive and will put a smile of your face."

Cons: "Trunk space"

It's a Caddy, and it does not get any more fun for the pricing

"This is a very fun car to drive and own. I have had a number of the Chev version, and they are also very cool to drive. But this car looks every bit a cool and there are very few out there. Only about 15K ever built. This is the luxury version of that other model. What else it's a Caddy. All the bells and whistles with a great ride and performance. So well balanced, with the rear transmission, I have not been able to break the rear end loose yet. Very fun, I do not believe you will be disappointed except in maybe the trunk space. Not much. oh well, Have fun life is short"

Pros: "looks, potent power train, hardtop-convertible"

Cons: "top down-little trunk space-interior materials"

"Guys, if you are looking for one of the hottest, radical looking cars and fastest cars around...one that will attract attention...especially from the women, slip on a pair of Ray Bans, slide into this ride and be prepared for action! The car is fast, sometimes too fast for your own good if you are not an experienced driver. It handles extremely well and competently. Raising or lowering the top in 30 seconds is a show that people love to watch! This car is a Corvette in a tuxedo. It has all the performance of a Corvette with an overabundance of style and class. You will not need a chiropractor after driving this car for extended distances like you would with a Corvette. It has the usual and creative creature comforts that you would expect from a Cadillac. Three of my favorites are the adaptive headlights and adaptive cruise control along with the heads up display. The Bose sound system, teamed with XM radio is wonderfully tuned to the acoustics of the interior. This car has all the muscle power you will need and shifts flawlessly. Trust me, I know..I also drive a 1970 GTO. My only disappointment is that Cadillac did not use more refined materials in the interior. The interior design is not what you would ordinarily expect from the Cadillac stable. This car's electrical system needs to be monitored. If you do not plan on driving it for a week, definitely put the car on a battery tender to keep the battery fully charged. Voltage drops play havoc with the complex sensors and computers in this car. At 17,000 miles I have had zero service issues beyond the usual scheduled maintenance items. All in all, a wonderful ride that will get you noticed where ever you go. And I am sure that you will enjoy every moment driving it as I do...just don't go driving it in the winter time!"

Pros: "I wish it was I buying this car what a great deal"

Cons: "Oregon needs more sunny days to enjoy even more"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

Does not do this car justice

"Purchased new in Las Vegas returned with car and has been maintained with our business autos. It is a great car with push to open and roof stows in trunk. The heads up display makes driving fun the only issue there just not enough sunny days here in Oregon to really enjoy all this car offers. She has been kept indoors during our rainy days so mileage is just under 14,000. If I had any other option I would not be selling this car, I would keep her but I have other financial needs so some lucky one gets the benefit of my situation. At time of purchase I payed over 75,000.. This car is in perfect condition ready to go with no issues or problems, a win win for the person who wants her. I put this off as long as I can must sale now."

Overlooking Puget Sound, top down and a Sunny Day

"used to Dream if i ever won the Lotto when the Cadillac XLR came out, i would own one. the XLR is better suited to us over 60 Year Old guys/gals, lot nicer than a Vette. the only way i would get rid of this auto would be if i had health problems (have trouble gettin In & Out of!) ...or if Cadillac builds a Roadster on the Corvette C7 or Mid-Engine frame, would trade it in."

Pros: "Exotic, fun to drive, great looking, convertible"

Cons: "Repairs costly."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"I've had this car since new. The XLR is for someone who likes Caddys, likes Vettes, likes something different, exotic but with a practical side. Practical? You can drive it on trips and be able to get service on the road. Reliable, but a little on the high maintenance side. The car turns heads everywhere you go in it. Valets love it and the XLR is truly an American exotic. Think of everything you don't like in a Corvette and the XLR has done it better. I'll never get rid of it."

Pros: "Awesome driving experience, unbeatable sexy look"

Cons: "No Bluetooth or iPod connection"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Just purchased my XLR and love it. I sold a '95 Mercedes SL500 to buy the XLR and also own a '12 Corvette Centennial Coupe so i have had the good fortune to have driven other great cars. The XLR is much more sporty than the SL500 and every bit of fun to drive as the Corvette. It performs best on the open road and offers the best of all worlds...spirited driving experience as well as excellent comfort. The interior looks and feels great and even after 8 years doesn't feel dated. The car has timeless great lines and likely will hold its appeal as a sexy roadster well into the future. Love the option to push a switch and take the top down in 30 seconds and enjoy the open air. This car brings excitement to me every time i start it up. And if looks and driving experience weren't enough it gets 25+ mpg on the highway. What's not to like?"
