Pros: "Engine sounds great, smooth shifting, & convenient"

Cons: "Rough rear ride & horrible resale value"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 3

"The car rides good (Though Cadillac has lost the idea of "rides like a Cadillac"), handles extremely well, and the steering is firm. The keyless entry & ignition is an irreplaceable convenience; Open the door from the outside while the car is locked, start the car, and just get out and leave when you're done... All while the key never leaves your pocket. Give it a few seconds and it locks and arms itself. The dash is traditional 90's style; cheap GM plastic, and the seats haven't improved in material quality since then either. The sports stance of import luxury cars is mocked by larger tires on the back and lower profile up front. Since the wheels are all the same size, you can expect the same look on a beat up truck in the 80's. The engine is very throaty and will put you in your place, whether it be the simple 6 cylinder or the powerful 8. The stablitrak and traction control are all electronic and use input from the steering and accelerator to make sure you stay in control, even when the weather is rough. The transmission has a seamless transition between gears, you could forget the exterior of the car and actually think you're in a smooth sports car. The cons; GM has once again gone cheap with the catalytic converters, so expect those to be replaced before you even reach 100k. Common problems with the electrical components (Including the exterior door handle - yes, you can actually be locked out of your own car, common ignition problems, and the same cheap valve guide seals GM began using in the early 90's)."

Pros: "handling, power, comfort, tecnhology"

Cons: "gas mileage (takes premium)"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I have owned this car since it was nearly new (only had 1800 on the odometer when I bought it). This car has been SO much fun to own and drive. It has been, for the most part, very reliable with only a few relatively minor issues that were taken care of under warranty. The technology, comfort and convenience of this car are top notch, especially considering that the technology dates to the 2005 model year. Everything in the car just works so well. The power and handling are truly remarkable and it is all wrapped up in an absolutely stunningly beautiful package. I look forward to owning this car for many years to come and would totally buy this car again!"
