I own this car - My approximate mileage is 106,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Comfortable, quiet, fast, cheap, reliable, big"
Cons: "Can't buy a new one."
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I love this car. Comfortable--the front seats are fantastic. The only exception is the headrest, which protrudes too far forward (like every other in recent memory). The back seats are great, too. Slightly firmer upholstery than the front, but still cushy, and the seat back comes up high enough to lean my head back against it when I'm a passenger. I'm six feet tall with big shoulders, and the Fleetwood's back seat room is nothing less than wonderful. Quiet--you can gobble up hundreds of miles and not be fatigued by road noise. The only thing you hear is a wonderful muted roar when you lay into the gas pedal, which you'll want to do often. Fast--it isn't the fastest car out there but with 260 horsepower it goes a lot quicker than anyone expects. Economical--I get about 17 in town, maybe 23 mpg on the highway, on regular gas. Parts are relatively cheap, too, and the rear-wheel-drive design means that there's plenty of space to work on the engine and transmission. Reliable--buy any car that's almost 20 years old and you have to do some things. Replace the cooling system, serpentine belt, hoses, brake hoses, stuff like this that just doesn't age well. Suspension parts will have to be replaced depending how the car was driven. The one big expense will be the 100,000 mile replacement of the Opti-spark distributer and plugwires. Do the water pump at the same time. Then you're set for another 100,00 miles. But, the basic mechanics and electricals are extremely reliable, and basic service like oil changes and antifreeze changes are easy. The engine is rock-solid and burns no oil. The transmission may give up the ghost around 150,000 mile depending how it's treated/ maintained. Still, it's a cheap car to own and keep up. Big--yeah. God bless General Motors. A real trunk to hold as many bodies as you need to move or, in my instance, 10 cases of copier paper. A real rear seat, wide, deep, and roomy. A real hood with a great view. So much space in front of the driver that you can lock your fingers together to stretch your arms and not hit the windshield. Big enough to be safe and feel safe. Big enough that oncoming cars move over. Big enough to be bigger than whatever car you or your neighbor are currently driving. The 94-96 Fleetwoods have a very loyal following, and hopefully this review explains why. (The 93 model is the same, but with a smaller engine, so go for the 94-96 LT1 350 inch engine). Find a one or two-owner example that hasn't been trashed by a series of morons, and you'll be a happy camper."

"Purchased in 2000 from a lady whose husband was ill. She didn't drive it much and it only had 55,000 miles on it. Well, that was 12 years ago! And I'm still driving it. :) I'll say this must be the last of the 'real' Cadillacs - it's big, drives smooth and is very quiet on the road."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 128,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Certainly a touring car."
Cons: "No CD player, due to age of car."

"This vehicle is the most comfortable one I've ever owned. Bought it from my grandmother after Grandpa (the only person to ever drive it) died. Floats down the street. It also has better gas mileage than my 2000 truck, 2006 minivan or 2010 SUV. Minimal upkeep, good solid car."

"I'm a paraplegic and im only 23 so i couldnt settle for anything less than what i like. it fits me perfect im a big dude 6'3 250lbs so i needed something to accommodate me and my chair. I had a 92 brougham before this and it wasnt to great because they have loose steering and hard acceleration. my 94 is pretty much everything i want in one, comfort and quality."
