"These are my 3rd and 4th Eldorados. I hit a deer about 3 months ago and started shopping the next day. Found a 95 with 35,000 mi. I got in and it still smelled new. They are sweet rides. I will keep my 94 and drive the wheels off that. In its condition, the trade in was only $500. I would tell folks not to buy them only so there are more available when I need to buy my nest one."
"My 1998 Cadillac Edlorado ETC is my 3rd Cadillac. I really liked the design back in '93' and wanted one ever since.
.....Found this Beautiful Eldorado when it came off Lease and have enjoyed this fine automobile ever since.
You can't miss the aerodynamic styling when you see her and the beautifully curved dash has always been my favorite. I really like the rare wood trim on the interior and the BOSE stereo with the 10 CD changer in the rear. I upgraded with an AUX input and can play MP3's, MiniDiscs, Even USB music through a netBook cpu. The Boise takes that sound and makes it sound like a concert.
The ride is very good thanks to the high tech suspension and the NORTHSTAR engine makes her a powerful contender.
.... The Northstar engine is one of the most powerful power plants I have owned. Being built into the Elorado ETC created a car with get Up and GO. PLENTY of power to pass cars on the highway and the occasional "other brand" large engine sports cars... After all these years, she still holds her own.
.....She is an eye catcher and even the dealership says she is a beautiful car.
..... The only problem I have ever had was a plastic connector on the suspension for the ride control cpu had broken and I had a light on the dash for repair. The part is rediculously priced and not available but a mechanic had a used on in his tool box. I forsee having to mold them in the future to keep systems working.
.....The NORTHSTAR has been trouble free so far, however there is chatter of the headgasket possibly being a fault of the Northstar in general and is an expensive repair.
... All told, this 1998 Cadillac Eldorado ETC has been an amazing vehicle and I absolutely enjoy the ride as I travel along the highway with that sound system.. This is one of my most favorite automobiles that I have owned. When compared to the other cars I own / have owned, though some of them were fun cars to drive, none of them can compare to the Eldorado ETC."
Pros: "All good, fun to drive, good power and handling."

"Ive put over 60,000 on this car and had only 1 issue with it , the radiator had to be replaced at 130,000 miles (normal). At that time I replaced all hoses, belt, thermostat and all the normal things. Only let me down once and it was my fault (out of gas)."
Pros: "Individualized styling with sporty confort"
Cons: "Northstar is like an old oil dripping Harley"

"I love my 1998 Cadillac Eldorado ETC, the Northstar's 300 HP is very impressive; able to hold it's own and then some. This was the top of the line Cadillac's with all of the creature comforts of cars ten years newer.
She takes Premium fuel, but averaging 17 MPG...and I don't hold back =)
Another fun requirement of owning a Northstar is performing the W. O . T. exercise...on ramps and frontage roads; in second gear take her up to 80 MPH and let off the gas leaving the load of the engine drag your speed back down to 20-30 MPH...rinse & repeat to burn the carbon from your heads.
Expensive car to maintain and repair if you don't do your own wrenching...I think of her as my newer muscle car!"
Cons: "No extra cup holder for the back seat passengers."

"I purchase my 97 El Dorado coupe from a private owner. I along with my mechanic inspected the auto engine,exterior,e.t.c...
The moment I did a test drive, I ultimately felt in love with the aero dynamic of the car and the steering power of this sports/sedan coupe. Seats are comfortable and the shift gear is right side by side with your thigh that It reminds me of riding an airplane. Reliable auto that takes me from point A to point Z and took it as far as Vegas.
For any Cadillac enthusiast, I would recommend this auto."
