Review this carBy Maury (PA) on Saturday, May 18, 2013
I own this car - My approximate mileage is 51,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Over the road this is your car at 28MPG or more"
Cons: "City, your heavy foot will pay gas"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I have been driving Cadillacs since 1972 getting new ones evry third year. I went through some very bad years with Cadillac until 2001. It was a good vehicle but not as well as my 2006. The comfort, the space and the performance of the auto is outstanding. When on the road 28 MPG is the norm, in the city its not too good. Does not burn oil and has been changed every 3000/4000 miles. New tires and brakes. Gargage kept looks brand new."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 32,500
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Roomy interior and trunk.Comfortable.Power"
Cons: "Fuel around town in teens.Old school design"

"Great car for $15000!If you like old school this is the car for you.Northstar is good for performance and will still get in the upper 20s on the highway.A little expensive to get repaired but check on the internet for Cadillac Forums and you can get a lot of helpful tips on working on these yourself.I had a 91 Deville and traded for a 2000 and now traded for an 06.For the buck I think this is a great buy for a full size luxury car.I travel from Florida to NY frequently and can do it in one shot and am not in pain at the end of a 19 hour day behind the wheel."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 31,000
overall rating 7 of 10rating detailsLikely to recommend this car? (1-10): 6
"This is my 2nd Cadillac. It compares well to my 2007 DeVille. However, this year/model feels like Cadillac cut corners and costs on too much plastic inside - plastic that cracks easily and also rubber insulation that splits too easily. Also, the DeVille came with a full 100,000 mile warranty; this DTS has less than half of that. The original tires will have to be replaced this year - after delivering less than 35,000 miles. As a used car, it was a good value purchase - simply because these cars depreciate soooo fast."
