I own this car - My approximate mileage is 148,000

Pros: "dependable, comfortable, spacious"

Cons: "lower gas milege than new cars,21mph in town"

"I have had 3 cadilac's and I love them. I owned and 88 DeVille which was hit by a semi and totaled and I had to replace it and I got a 91 Eldorado and a tree fell on it 7 years later. But I loved the car. I bought My 98 DeVille in 2011 and I have enjoyed this car just as much as my other ones. They ride smooth. They are classic. My only complaint about my 98 DeVille is that this year of cars are so cheaply made in the interior. The corners of the headliners and vinyl seem to be coming apart and the decal on the outside of the car is bubbling. An expensive car like this was shouldn't have been using such cheap materials on it to be doing this. The wheels are peeling metal off of them. But other than that, the car is fantastic. It is everything a cadilac should be."

Excellent Vehicle

Pros: "Excellent car, a joy to drive."

Cons: "Headlight lens troubles."

"Best car I have ever owned. I have owned more Cadillac's, but this one is reliable, dependable, comfortable, and gets (believe it or not) good gas mileage. I have only done minor work to it and it has low miles on it."

Beautiful cheap car!!!

Smooth ride!

"This is a very very nice car! If you shop around you can pick one up very inexpensive. Extremely comfy on the inside!! ALOT of car for a little price!! Features Beautiful leather, power outlet for both rear passengers, AC for rear seat, Luxurious carpeting and posh Leather dash, Automatic trunk suction (just bareley close the trunk, the car will take it from there!), Power everything!!! AC super cold and all digital. tells instant mpg as you are driving!!! Nice gold tinted driverside mirror to prevent spots, Antiglare rearview mirror, seats 6 plus!!, made of super high quality materials!, leather pouches all over for mad storage!, ginormous trunk!, premium sound system, RELIABLE! Ive owned this car for 5 years now and have had no major problems. Picked it up 5 years ago for 2400 bucks with 85k on it. This is my 2nd caddy and will be driving it for years to come! Horrible resale value...... which makes it a good value for the consumer who wants a reliable, safe extremely comfortable and stylish car!! Gas milage isn't great, but not as bad as everyone thinks it is. I get 17.9 in ALL city , no highway driving. With all the money you saved on buying this car the little extra on gas is nothing! 1994 came with remote lock/ unlock/ trunk. Gold keys! Beautiful chrome wheels! Floats down the road!!"

Love this car

Cons: "I wish the climate control was set up differently"

"It's got a lot of miles and it's an older car but it never fails to start for me and I can still drive the tires off it. It's a goer that's for sure."

Best choice for comfort.

"I love this car. It runs and drive perfectly. I have owned the car for 8 years and haven't done anything but scheduled maintenance. The car has plenty of power and floats down the road. The front wheel drive works great in the snow. This is a very comfortable car for the long haul."

Solid reliable car

Pros: "Excellent workmanship. Interior is comfortable."

Cons: "Looks like an old woman's car."

"I inherited this car from my mother's estate. She took excellent care of it and hardly drove it. It has been a great car with no problems. Had to change the spark plugs and wires not long ago, but that was the first thing I've ever had to do on this car, other than change the oil and the battery. Smooth ride. Great car. No complaints."
