Pros: "Excellent handling and great acceleration."

Cons: "None."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"This machine is probably the finest driving machine I have ever owned (I have owned 13 new cars). The acceleration and handling are great. The 5.7 LS-6 engine and running gear has been highly reliable - NO maintenance except oil and filter changes and induction air filter. The machine is a pleasure to drive and the gas mileage is good for a 400 HP engine and 6 speed trans: about 17.9 MPG around town and 25.5 MPG highway. I plan on keeping my "V" indefinitely."

Pros: "Performance"

Cons: "Cost to maintain"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 7

"When I bought the car it was because of performance. The 3.6 responds well and still had adequate gas mileage. Parts are expensive in relation to others and when the car broke the 100K mark some of the fixes were costing me. I take very good care of the car and thus far have no real complaints. The fixes incurred are probably considered normal compared to other vehicles just much more expensive."

"this car has 112 miles on it I was the second owner and the guy I bought it off was 86 years old. It really is a nice car the exterior had a nice shine with a few minor dings and the interior for its age looks great, no rips or worn section . I have service every 3 thousand miles for oil change , wipers , and any thing else it may need,. I have one mechanic that has taken care of it since I bought It five years ago. He could really tell you I baby this car"

Pros: "Such a nice ride with XM radio, heated seats!"

Cons: "Just need a mechanic who knows caddies"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"I was setting up my CTS for a long road trip...Sure she has 227,000 miles but she rides like a dream after adding two new Yokohama tires. So I am shopping and then heading home when the check coolant display comes on! I thought, "Well, I just had the oil changed so I should be able to get home (5 miles)." NOPE---she conked out and would not move after 2 miles. I thought I was going to die! I was on a road that had no shoulder and I was stuck in the semi trailer lane! The engine heat gauge showed the mid-level. It never went to hot but smoke was rolling out of the engine area. I let it cool down and then scampered to the front to see if there was anything I could do. I have a faithful husband who keeps a large container of coolant and oil in my trunk (My baby loves her oil.) so I carefully poured the whole thing in the overflow area. Got back in and she would start but wouldn't move an inch. It was like she was in park, not neutral. So tonight she is languishing at the dealership and I am praying it isn't the engine, transmission or some other major bill! My daughter is crying in Lake Tahoe (where she is going to college)and needs her Mama fix!"
