"At 225,000 Km/140,000 Mi my 94 2dr GS is in great shape with shiny paint, dent free body, lots of power, and handles very well. Installed a K&N Air Filter and immeiately gained hp. Replaced a Power Window motor, Power Steering Pump, and one of the Sensors is leaking a liitle Oil so it will be replaced soon. If you can buy this car below $1500 and it still looks good then it is worth it. There will be repairs on any used car, so look closely before you buy to see how it has been maintained."
"My Skylark is a 1996. It has well over 116,000 miles and still runs great. It was my grandpa's car, my mother's and now mine. I have had it for two years, and have put over 40,000 on the car myself. I have only made routine fixes to the car, and my break line busted. The car has hit a deer, been in a accident and Has been rolled in it's life time. I was rear ended once, but not even a mark was left! The transmission isn't as great as it once was, but it's running almost as great as when I got it. The gas mileage is great! I would recommend the car to anyone, young or old."
"i had 2 skylarks, both were purchased at around 11 yrs old for around $2,000. The first had the 3.3 motor and was great to me - w/ 135k miles it still ran strong but the windows and heater core needed repair along with alot of peeling paint -so i got rid of it and got another - i had to replace the head gasket on the this one- a big job , but almost expected on a 11 yr old car , after replaced the car always start and goes- definately the most reliable i have ever had, but the power windows are put together poorly and need various parts., im at 135k with it now and its starting to have a weak transmission."
"The bright red paint job is really excellent and the body still looks great at 11 years old. My only complaint is that when I drop something, it ends up between the seats and its difficult to retrieve it."
