"Best car we ever owned all the options you'd want. Fully loaded. Great fuel mileage Even for a smaller sedan great value. I'm 6'1" and have plenty of leg room. Drives great and reliable"

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 165,000
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "Reliable car with great pick-up and decent mpg"
Cons: "Plain appearance with few bells and whistles"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"This car is perfect for someone with a need for speed (like me). It is so unassuming in appearance kids in go-carts think they can beat it at a stoplight. Guys in big fancy trucks try and lose and then have to go over the speed limit by a lot to catch up and pass so their big masculine egos aren't hurt. And all because the weight to horsepower ratio works in your favor. With 6 cylinders and a relatively light car, you can go go go. And mileage is still pretty good - I got 21 or so city and 28+ highway. The basic interior is pretty bland - manual seat adjustment, AM/FM radio. Some versions offer a little more and you can always upgrade the stereo system. I would not recommend a light colored interior - the beige version we have really shows stains. Very reliable with only standard repairs (tires, exhaust) needed at expected intervals. Cars now offer a lot more bells and whistles, but if you need reliable transportation with a little extra under the hood, this is the car to beat."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 150,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Fun to drive - power in disguise"
Cons: "No lighted makeup mirror, cassette or cd player"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"My husband and I bought this car in 1999 from Enterprise as it was coming out of the fleet with <20K mileage for <$10K. He got to use this car first and he is very rough on cars. When it finally passed to me, he had worn out part of the drivers seat and spilled so many mocha lattes that the carpet is permanently stained. In spite of the hubby wear on the interior and the road wear on the body and one bullet hole in the trim, it has been a wonderful car for me. It has power when I need it and it's not even hard enough on gas mileage to qualify for the junker deal. I've owned three Skylarks - 1967, 1984 and 1997. If they still made it, I'd get another one in a heartbeat."

"This car has served us well, has pretty good pickup with the V-6 and gas mileage is ok. I've driven it for 12 yrs. and will now pass it along to our son for college wheels. It'll probably go another 60k or more..."
