"it listed for 34000 new. it goes threw front rotors . headlight switch was replaced ,the belt are a pain to change you have to unbolt a motor mount ,I put some money into the motor at 90000 gaskets . Great car ahead of its time ,great looking lines. It will be a classic . never sell mine."

gorgeous interior

"i bought this garage kept beauty from the original owner. it's diamond pearl white paint is gorgeous and goes well with the tan leather interior. the riviera is loaded with features like auto leveling, 4 wheel ABS disk brakes, traction control, heated leather power seats, climate control, supercharged, wood grain dash. it is an awesome super luxury coupe. i think i want to be buried in this car because these days it's cheaper than a casket!! lol"

Pros: "Very comfortable ride"

Cons: "Hard to find replacement parts"

"LOVE this 1995 Rivieria! Wish Buick would come out with a new version. Ride is still comfortable, and though the vehicle now has a few quirks (after 200,000+ miles), it has lasted longer than the 7 vehicles my husband has had during the same time period!"

Pros: "This has been the best car I have ever owned."

Cons: "They don't make them any more."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I purchased this car new and have enjoyed every mile. I like the styling and comfort of this car. It is a wonderful road car and gets remarkably good mileage for a large car. The trunk is huge which for us is great because we travel quite a bit. I have never kept a car this long in my life but it has given me such great service I hate to part with it. I have only replaced a few components in this car, perhaps $2300.00 worth in 17+ years. Regular maintenance two sets of Michelins, one battery and the afore mentioned maintenance in 133000 miles is great service. I hope my next car is half this good. In all the years that I have had this Riviera it has never failed me. I love the burgundy color with matching interior and have had compliments on it from the beginning."

Pros: "starting to be a classic"

Cons: "starting to be a classic"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"sporty car, lots of power (no hot rod by any means) it is supercharged (adds 20 h.p.) reliable, I have put on 45,000 miles in last 2 years. some repairs like a/c, idle sensor, the hardest to find was the plate has a computer in the plate, that the three coils sit on. That plate with the p/c wears out and nobody knows about it. Highlights is the amount of room (at least width wise). Very comfy. all the comforts of most caddys of the time. and for the size of the car it gets great mileage. 19 city 24 hwy for this size of car, not bad. no major repairs yet."

Pros: "A joy to drive & trouble free, classic styling."

Cons: "None"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I purchased this car new and added the few options available, diamond white paint, chrome wheels, moon roof, and the supercharged motor. It has seen two winters and has spent most of it's time in heated storage since. It has all kinds of power, rides smoothly with no rattles or outside noises. A big bonus is that it gets 28MPG on the highway One of the best ever made! Too bad Buick doesn't make them anymore."
