I own this car - My approximate mileage is 117,000
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "FAST, comfortable, and a good looking car"
Cons: "Expensive parts, and alignment issues"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"This car is nice it has more gadgets in it than most new car base lines do. Heated Seats/Automatic Seats, Sun-Roof, CD/Cassette, Climate Control and a great sound system. This car can get up and GO, when the supercharger kicks in it's fully capable of burning out and wiping your head back. I love it."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 115,000
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "Fun To Drive - Compliments on the style"
Cons: "SuperCharger - cost big when it goes out"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"The Last year of the Riveria - probably won't be a collector car - but it should be. Only Issue - SuperCharger - mine went out - to get a used one installed cost over $1,100.00. There are small issues as the car ages - the panel for the air condition went out - air still works but - you can't read the temp, etc. I have 115,000 miles and the comfort of this car is still outstanding. I get compliments almost everyday on the style - either you Love it or Hate it. I Love it!! The milage is impressive 27 on the Highway - 20 in the city, only Negative it uses Prem Gas. I would love to find one with low miles - I would buy it in a heartbeat."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 84,000
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "Great drive for town or long trips."
Cons: "Not the best drafting car on windy days."
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"My only regret is that it didnt have the supercharger, but even without it is Very Peppy;) I really want a late 60's early 70'model Riviera to restore. Wish Buick would bring back the Riviera it was always and still is Very Reliable with a touch of class!"

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 70,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Quiet, fast, reliable ride, GREAT value for $"
Cons: "Hard to park, super unleaded only, old person rep."
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"The 1998 Buick Riviera is sleek, fast, comfortable and reliable. It can be difficult to drive and park at times. For a two door, this car is 17 feet long, and only 9 inches short the length of a Chevy Suburban. People either like it or loath it, but it gets great gas mileage (29 mpg hwy). Repairs are reasonable and the supercharger is great! Very quick off the line, but the traction control keeps this beast straight. This car has been called a "yacht", and it is! The A/C comes on fast and cold. The interior is comfortable and plush. Buy one"

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 150,000
overall rating 4 of 10rating detailsPros: "nice ride"
Cons: "not economical"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 3
"This car is wonderful for road trips---has a very nice ride. But it is kind of big and therefore inconvenient when running errands around town. Original paint job is defective---large patches where paint is coming off. Luxury features are nice, but are excessively expensive when repairs are needed. Parts are expensive and this car has needed a great many repairs. Weatherstripping freezes doors shut in winter---this caused door handles to break (both sides) when I pulled them too hard to try to get in; requires premium gas and only gets around 20 miles per gallon (in town); nice car if it's an extra car, but not very economical if it is your main mode of transportation;"
