Pros: "Comfort Plus it turns on a dime."

Cons: "The forward cup holder is in a bad location."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I have owned this vehicle for 12 years. It has been reliable and dependable. It drives like a dream, nice and smooth. Takes bumps fantastic and I haven't been able to find anything so comfortable. If they still made this vehicle I would buy it again. I get an average of 19 miles per gallon too. It has great power and all the bells and whistles."

Pros: "comfortable, loaded with options, reliable engine"

Cons: "no manual 4wd option, air bag suspension, heavy"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 4

"4.2L inline six and auto transmission have been reliable. Gas mileage reflects heavy, old-style SUV. By far my biggest complaint is these Buicks don't come with a manual 4wd option. You can't turn it on or off, it only comes on when it senses wheel slip and they're very prone to breakdown. If the tires aren't exactly the same size, such as more wear on rear than front, the AWD will kick in. It cost me about $1000 to have the front axle housing replaced. Right now I have the transfer case fuse in the front fuse box and 4wd fuse under the back seat removed so the AWD doesn't kick in when I don't want it to. Also, I don't like the air bag rear suspension, and it really clunks when going over a significant bump. Other than AWD and air bag suspension I'm pretty pleased with the quality. Although I don't have the electric mirror control on because it has a mind of it's own and I don't know how to change it."

Pros: "Plenty of engine power, interior options!"

Cons: "Cup holders too close to shifter."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Bought this vehicle used. It is 9 years old, low mileage, a V-8, and is in near perfect condition. Love the heated seats, nav system, and all the other options this SUV is loaded with! Smooth ride, awesome acceleration. I have been wanting a SUV for a few years and was looking at a Buick Rendezvous when this caught my eye. I do not regret buying this vehicle!"

Pros: "Reliable, Comfortable, Great Size, Great Power w/8"

Cons: "Had to replace air shocks in the rear"

"I have my 2004 Buick Rainier for over 10 years now and the car just seems indestructible! My wife has been asking me when I'm going to trade this in and I cannot let it go. It just keeps running without issue and I still way more comfortable then any of the new cars and had a ton of power."

"This auto performs as if it was brand new. Great power to weight ratio. Lots of get up and go when you need it. Comfortable ride and reasonably good mpg. Wish the model was still available. I like V-8 power."

Pros: "Many options (bells & Whistles)"

Cons: "No USB or Nav (too old)"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"I bought this SUV new in 2006. I LOVED Rainier. Wish Buick still made it. Had everything I needed. Very dependable and with the OnStar, I was always safe. XM radio, heated seats, moon roof, towing package (for the boat/motorcycles) and lots of room to haul my dogs  Lots of Bells & Whistles! I have helped countless stranded people due to flat tires, because the Rainier comes with an air compressor with long enough hose to fill the other guy’s tires, beach toys, bike tires etc. Lots of room, separate heat/air and audio controls in the back seat. No major mechanical issues. Drove easily. The only reason I traded it in is because I drive 500+ miles several times a year and decided to get something with fewer miles. Did I say I LOVE this SUV???"
