"This car is exceptionally reliable, practically drives itself, is very well designed, quiet and a soft smooth ride. Buick hit it out of the park with this car. It is a quieter better ride than the 2011 Cadillac SUV I bought to replace it. Never got rid of the Rainier, I am still driving it. I need a new Rainier model BUICK. Height, size, space, perfect. Encore too small, Enclave too big."
"Bought the car with 33,000 miles and put 50,000 on so far in three years. In those three years, we never saw a day without something needing repair. Some of the minor problems went unfixed for a while because I only had enough money for the more important fixes. Here's a list off the top of my head of the all the stuff that went bad.
Rear speakers buzz loudly,
center console latch broke,
heater for driver's seat quit,
roll-over sensor for airbags went bad,
exterior handle on driver's door broke,
exterior handle on rear passenger door broke,
lift struts for tailgate gave out,
water pump had to be replaced,
blower module that operates the cabin fan went bad.
This car is has been a money pit. For being a nice car with a quality looking interior, it sure has kicked me in the wallet to the tune of more than $2000 just for unexpected repairs.
Also, if you are a do-it-yourselfer and change your own oil, the filter is in a TERRIBLE spot that is hard to get a grip on."
"and support underneath all new. This vehicle has been serviced every three thousand miles and has never had oil added between changes. Drives perfect. I purchased the vehicle as a program vehicle with 16000 miles on it.
It has no issues more than a wash job."
