Pros: "extremely comfortable ride V6 has power & economy"

Cons: "Just a big Car ride .. no sporty punch"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"There were a few engine campaigns on these, so make sure all due diligence has been done before buying a used land ark. 3800 V6 has enough power ... also *can* get great mileage if car is maintained properly. I also own a 2011 Lucerne 3.9 and the Park Ave beat it on road mileage. Park Ave on Interstate driving is a 30 mpg car. Can't get above 26.4 in the Lucerne. Around town they are n both 18.5 mpg. ..I live in the mountains so a lot of hills to climb. If I had to only own one the rest of my life the Park Ave Ultra wins."

Pros: "Luxury, value, comfortable ride, cops don't harras"

Cons: "Poor gas mileage, too many repairs"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"I owned the ultra model and absolutely loved the luxury the car offered. I owned it for about 3-4 years before I had major repairs needed to be done. It needed a new transmission, had coolant leaks around the engine, and oil leaks which was too costly to fix for me. I bought it for $3000 and ended up selling it for less than $1000 due to really costly repairs. It served me well and I ended up getting a Rav4 as my next car which I really love but really miss the comfortable ride of the buick. I could see myself owning one maybe again in the future but with a new transmission and engine."

"Bought vehicle with about 180000 mile on it for $3400.00 and within two years spent $3000.00 in mechanical repairs on it. Not very happy with it."

"I have had everything from vans to an Eldorado and for every day dependability and timeless looks the Park Avenue has it . I would buy a new one today but they don't make them any more. The last year was 2005 anyone who has one is keeping it."

Pros: "super quiet, comfortable ride, reliable, great mpg"

Cons: "non"

"I'd recommend this vehicle to a friend but they are becoming hard to find. Bought my 2005 Park Ave. used in 2007 with 54,000 miles on it. complete luxury package with heads up display, heated front seats "the works" including on-star (never used). She currently has over 166,000 miles i just recently repaired some engine sensor devices and for under $350.00 only engine work ever done. When i drive the interstate cruising at 74 mph i achieve 35 mpg, I average 25 mpg. I love this car so much that 18 months ago i bought another 2005 for my wife, actually for me because i did not want to drive any other car if mine went into the shop for a day or two which as i said just recently happened. I did experience the common issues like the climate control display going out but a trip to the electronic store for higher wattage resistors and its back on for last 4 years. i never had the problem with the warping of the intake manifold which causes coolant to leak into a cylinder. I did flush my transmission fluid at 120,000 miles and to this day it is the same engine coolant in it since the day i bought it, no sludge or deposits of any kind. Of all the cars i owned 73 Dodge Challenger, 75 Chrysler New Yorker (yes the big one) a 1976 Dodge Power Wagon, a 78 brand new Chrysler Cordoba, even an 82 Ford Escort plus a new 1996 f150 Ford 4x4 pickup along with cars for my wife Kia Optima, a Kia Sadona The Buicks by far have been the best cars to date. Happy Motoring"

Pros: "If ;you can get one for around $3,000, grab it!"

Cons: "No GPS"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"This Buick Park Avenue was the best car I ever owned, and I am now 79 years old, had my first car at age 20. This car has features that I don't even find in my current 2014 Toyota Camry. The only thing I would have liked in the car which it didn't have was a GPS. Otherwise I believe it outshines any of the cars I've seen today. Not only that, but almost every time I had a passenger in my car they always commented on how comfortable it was. You could hardly feel any bumps on the road...very smooth...not like the Toyota. I hate to see her go, but she is getting old now. I'm getting used to the Toyota, which is nice, but it's what I can afford now."
