Beautiful car

"This car drives very nice and can take off. I love the zoom power, the way it handles curves and hugs the road. It's a very sexy car especially with the top down. i don't have any blind spots and it can manuevre easily."

"Although I bought the vehicle used, I have driven the majority of miles. SoCal is a perfect setting for this car and driving topless on its freeways is always a thrill. The car looks great and drives extremely well. It's a shame BMW discontinued the model because I would buy a new one in a heartbeat."

"This is my wife's spring.summer, fall commuter. She loves it,smooth and responsive, automatic transmission. Bought it from 1st Arizona owner and it has been a joy to own. Never sees snow, hides in winter. This is her 2nd BMW and both have been very good. These don't like cheap tires and I put Bridgestone pole position tires on and they work well on the car. If you are looking for a summer fun convertible that is high quality I would recommend one of these over most others."

Pros: "Great top down or top up 2 seater"

Cons: "Don't expect to haul 2 golfers/clubs to the course"

"I have had this car for 3 years and it has given me no problems. I use it as a daily driver and regularly get in the 26-28mpg highway range. Cruise control and close to the speed limit (I do have a V1 radar detector, so you can draw your own conclusions about the speed limit reference) and have gotten as high as 30 on the highway. 22-23 around town is about average. I am very happy with this car and it still turns heads even though it is 17 years old. Playing golf is a challenge as the clubs must go in the passenger seat. I am 6'1" 215# so I am not the smallest guy on the block, but I have no problems driving this car. I wouldn't want to be much taller however. The trunk is big enough to put $100 worth of groceries in. Not the most practical car I have ever owned, but certainly one of the most fun and reliable. I know it can get expensive to repair at some point."

"I am 60 yr old this is the most fun to drive car I have ever owned. Good feel of road enough power to excite. The only down side it is a little hard for a tall person (over 6 ft ) to get in and out of but comfortable inside."
