"This is my 3rd 5 series and my favorite (looks wise) by far! Best value for BMW is the 525i and LOVE the on board display and computer systems."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 92,000
overall rating 5 of 5rating detailsPros: "Ultimate Driving Machine--you enjoy driving!!"
Cons: "Cup Holders, Expensive to Maintain"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"The BMW 530i with the six speed transmission is a great family car, a great vehicle to drive everyday, a great car to drive long distances or short distances. My car gets 24 MPG in City and about 31 on HWY. If you go over 77mph the efficiency goes down with it. If you ask any BMW owner the cup holders are horrible, but it's kept me from eating food in my car and therefore kept my car cleaner. The i Drive could be more user friendly and the GPS is connected to the i Drive so same thing, could be more user friendly, but I'm not and idiot and if you're buying a BMW you're not an idiot either so read the handbook take 10 minutes and you'll figure it out. It's not rocket science."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 38,000
overall rating 5 of 5rating detailsPros: "Powerful and beautifully well made"
Cons: "ventilation system"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"My complaints are few about this car. They are primarily with the ventilation system which is ridiculously over-engineered. The oil level sensor goes from all is fine to add a quart of oil immediately. And there is no engine temperature gauge. Otherwise it is a wonderful car to drive especially with the traction control turned off and the sport mode turned on. Powerful, comfortable (love the heated steering wheel), and it looks great. Brakes are very good too. The bluetooth phone, navigation system, audio, cruise control, and idrive features all perform very well. The fit and finish on this car in all respects is impeccable. The split fold down back seats is a great option. The car is even decent in moderate amounts of snow."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 35,000
overall rating 4 of 5rating detailsPros: "Makes passing people lots of fun; fantastic pickup"
Cons: "Could use a little more interior storage"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"I've had 4 previous BMW's - all 3 series. Glad I finally stepped up to the 5. This car feels very solid and drives great. Handles like a dream. Few odd things - intermittent service engine soon light, which is a mystery; alerting me 1100 miles ahead of time that my oil needs to be changed; it could use more storage in the interior, a couple more drink holders wouldn't hurt"
