Pros: "Reliable motor"

Cons: "Expensive to fix, it's German made, not cheap!"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 7

"I have owned two 325i BMW convertibles. The first one was a 2003 (in photo) and I totaled it and walked away without a scratch. My second one is a 2005. If you want a safe and reliable little convertible, this is a good one to own! It has a couple of known issues, the top can stop working and the motor can cost upwards of $1500 to fix with labor. The car can have issues with exhaust leaks which doesn't make it drive any different, it just makes it a pain in the butt to smog. I fixed a few other little things like the power steering broke once but other than that, this car has been a good car."

Pros: "Fun and sporty to drive"

Cons: "low bumpers in front"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"The 330i convertible is a fun car to drive. It has great get up and go and is easy to park. The top is easy to put up and down with a push of a button. It has the M sport package which looks great, but the front bumper is so low, it scrapes going in or out of driveways or hits parking bumpers! That's the only negative. Mine has over 125, 000 miles and is going strong. BMW-is the Ultimate Driving Machine!"

Pros: "fun to drive/lasts long time"

Cons: "costly to maintain/repair as needed"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"This is the first car I bought on my own and I remember thinking that I should splurge now because next time I need I car I may be married with a kids. Well that's come true and some 231000 miles later my only complaint is that some of the power windows - and nothing is a cheap replacement for this car - have died more than a couple times. Otherwise, everything else is maintenance or normal wear and tear. Radiator lasted to 225000 miles, and that's the last major thing I've done."

Pros: "Drives smooth, Body built well"

Cons: "To many mechanical common issues"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 3

"Bought new in 2004. In 2008 needed new engine because of coolant issue. BMW had no problem replacing it. 2009 - 2015 have had to replace the brakes several times, coolant sensor, gas tank and gas lines, front and back window motor and now possibly transmission. When running without issues it drives very smooth with no noise inside. The body is made well where I feel safe unlike other cars are very tinny. Unfortunately I wouldn't buy another one, not worth the money until they fix the common issues."

Pros: "Drives great with feel for the road! Avg. 28.0 MPG"

Cons: "Only 1 good cup holder"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

Driving a BMW 3-series makes driving the roads a "HIGHTIME" and pleasure to driving to work or just for pleasure on a Sunday drive!

"Well-constructed car with good power for a 2.5 liter getting an average of 28.0 MPG with good acceleration and excellent braking! The 10-speaker HK sound system is crisp! Does not burn oil even with 130,000 miles after 12 years using synthetic oil with oil changes only required every 15,000 miles! Good weight distribution for a solid feeling drive and feel for the road! Nice extra features such as right side mirror tilts down when in reverse. Has a MPG use meter in speedometer cluster showing the MPG used while in various gears during acceleration and while in cruise control to help monitor to get the best MPG during all aspects of driving. I have never seen an extra meter like this in any other car manufacturer!"
