Pros: "quality, turning radius, 8.2''ground clearance"

Cons: "slow tip-tronic transmission response"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

Climbs nasty dirt/rock drive-way to get home everyday

"My family needed an extremely functional AWD wagon and I did not want a turbo. Very satisfied with this allroad. Impressive handling and turning radius. More ground clearance than most SUV's!! Unbeatable qualities and V8 power. Only one issue with ride height control and it was under warranty."

"Fun car to drive when it functions properly. Have had nothing but issues with it since I bought in used. Suspension has failed, plenum drain got clogged and car was flooded with rain water (known problem), bad CV joints, on and on..."

Pros: "Super fun car to drive, lots of HP"

Cons: "Repairs are expensive"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"I love the pick up this vehicle has and the smooth handling. It is a dream to drive..my kids are all asking when will I get rid of it because they want it. I did have to replace the air bag compressor around 150000, but bought one from Arnott industries for less and it works like new. It does prefer to run on 93 octane gas and does not like ethanol blends- I notice on long trips the check engine lights come on if I run a tank of gas with ethanol in it- some states only sell blends- but one I put 93 back in the light comes off. The gas mileage is OK, but I the horsepower and passing ability is unsurpassed. I wish they would not have quite making this wagon- it has room and is fun to drive. It's an Audi , so find a good mechanic other than dealership to save money on repairs if possible."

Does 220,000 and still going say it all

Pros: "Runs smooth, its a Porche in a wagon"

Cons: "21 miles per gallon"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"Does 220,000 miles say enough in 7 years? And still flying? The only problem I had the first few years was the speeding tickets I got, because it was so fun to drive. At about 150,000 miles the first air suspension went on the front, and at 200,000 the second one went. At that point, instead of paying $1500. I bought a kit to replace all the air suspension units (4) with traditional shocks for $1300. Replaced the timing belt at 200,000 as well. Oil changes every 10k, rotate the tires, keep it clean and it will run great forever. Even at $1000 per year in maintenance, that's cheaper than a new car and I'm riding in luxury."

Pros: "Beautiful to look inside and out. AWD is great."

Cons: "Takes dedication to maintain."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"The fact that this car new adjusted for inflation would cost north of $65k, and a used one can be had for under $10k! the depreciate quickly because of people reliability concerns. if this doesn't bother you (ie.) you have second car; and luxury, performance and style are something you enjoy, then by all means, please buy an Audi all road. it is the coolest wagon around. I consider it to be the birth of the crossover vehicle. automakers today still haven't nailed down something as stylish and functional as the allroad. unfortunately for audi, there's a price to pay for innovation, and it came in the form of a lot of special costly parts that were prone to failure. if you can find a one owner, well maintained allroad, and live in the mountains where it snows but don't want to drive an SUV, then JUST BUY IT. The drive is amazing and there are luxury features that are only available in very high end newer models, (like a heated steering wheel! and heated BACK seats! )."

Pros: "Style, power, all wheel drive, luxury, air system"

Cons: "not many at all. Mine is nearly perfect so far!"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"If you drive in the snow and mountains, I don't think there is a better car out there. This Audi smokes any car in the snow. I pass 4x4 trucks, jeeps, and anything else in the way, like they are standing still. This thing is a monster up there, yet super comfortable, and luxurious. The interior is a beautiful design, along with tons of cargo space for gear. Leather seats are all heated, and back seats fold all the way down for more storage, boxes, camping etc. The engine is super powerful with the bi-turbo. This car rides like a luxury power sedan on the freeway, but when it get to go off road, or in snow/ice this vehicle can't be beat. Amazing BOSE sound-system, Power sun/moonroof, and chassy height adjust on command! The inside at night looks like a cockpit with all red illuminated dash and instruments. I could go on and on about this car: It's super fast, smooth and stylish. Great car for freeway driving, and unsurpassed in the Mountains!"
