"I am in love with this car. I have only owned domestic vehicles so I was a little timid about buying a import. I purchased my vehicle 2nd hand with roughly 165k miles on it. I am only home for 30 days out of the year and wasn't looking to have a monthly payment for something I don't drive. I have put approximately 5k miles on and could spend all day driving this car. Its handles like a dream, better than my '96 Cobra. The last time I was home, I did have to take it to the dealership to have my coils and plugs replaced because the #6 cylinder was misfiring, expect with the mileage. Quick and not too expensive fix. I live in the mountains of Maine and was caught driving home in a snow storm one night. My road hadn't been plowed yet and had about 8 inches of snow and the car handle it just fine with the Quattro drive train. The road might as well have been dry. The engine has good, smooth power and quiet. I wouldn't attempt to work on the engine due to its fine tuning. The car rides smooth. I am sold on this brand for life."

Pros: "FAST GOOD HANDLING"
Cons: "ALWAYS IN THE SHOP, CAN'T GET PARTS FOR WEEKS"

"Bought 2008 A6, 4.2 cert form dealer at 33,000 miles. Tail light went out, had to have for a whole assembly replaced--it was under warranty. Then Both headlights went out. Last summer fuel gauge went out, 3 times in the shop can't figure out and no parts in the USA. total of a month in the shop. But dealer was great, supplied with a loaner car., FREE. 2 weeks after I got it back power steering growling, checked no fluid. Took it the dealer, hose's leaking $1450.00 to repair-- out of warranty, but no parts in USA or Europe, so will take 4-6 weeks to get the hose's in. Let the car sit all winter and drove a reliable trailblazer with 165,000 miles. So last week decided to call Audi USA and complain, that was useless. So called dealer, one hose in Calif. and one hose in Mich. so I can't wait to get the car in next week and spend $1500 for 2 power steering hose's, then drive it for a month or two, and have something else go out, coasting a thousand or more on a "quality car" that only has 66,000 miles. Thinking about an Audi? FORGET IT, AS FAR AS I'm CONCERNED"

"I loved my 2005 Audi A6 and then the valves supposedly went. I say supposedly becasue there is still a thought that the time chain should have been look at instead. Still not sure since I need to get a second opinion also, the leather seemed to crack all over and I owned the car from day one."

Pros: "Great smooth ride, excellent with snows"
Cons: "Way too many problems for $48,000 car"

"Always serviced at Audi!! 14 months after owning this car the leather seats began to crack, by this time I had replaced two or 3 window switches, at 52,000 miles it needed a transmission Audi US, not dealer paid 1/2 so my share was $3500. Replaced a few more window switches. Sometimes window would not roll up. At 105,000 miles was told I needed new valve stem sensors for $1100.00 Rode around with bad valve stems, got a flat bought all new snow tires ($1200) at 114,000 miles and got Valve stems replaced, worked for 7 miles. (Only work not done at Audi) Now car does not always start, it let me down 3 out of 5 times gives me error message "take weight off steering" not in the manual and two Audi dealers never heard of the message. Love the car loved the ride just not 100% not dependable at this age. Going to trade it in, will get poor trade in because of valve stem problem and not sure if it will start. 116,000 Miles Bye Bye Audi. Back to Volvo!"

"Best car I have ever owned. Bought it new in late 2004 and this car has been fantastic. Has many very amazing options that you still don't find on cars today. Love this car and think it is a fantastic value."
