"i have had the car for a couple of years, it runs perfect. the car drives like a dream. the ride quality is amazing, and long trips can be really fun. its a great starter car or any type of car for the most part. parts can be expensive, but i have only had to buy one part for it ever."

"Bought for it's looks and comfort, forgetting about how problematic Eurocars are. $200 for thermostat!! American cars don't quit cranking when the cam sensor goes bad but the Audi does - another $200. Parts are too high and finding a good mechanic to work on them is hard. Automatic is slow out of the hole - 5-speed would be better. A cool car if you can afford the upkeep."

"I am 19 now, had the car for 2 years put over 100000 miles on it, and only major thing replaced was timing chain, and fuel pump. everything still works fine, runs great for a 1994 with 240k miles, made over ten long road trips over 600 miles each with NO PROBLEMS. I highly recomend this car."

"This is my second Audi that I bought for $1000 with 210,535 miles on it and I piled up its odometer to 216,440 miles within 3 months without any problems whatsoever. This car is an engineering (of course German) master piece and five speed manual transmission along with Quattro system is fantastic in hilly Idaho roads (specially reaching ski resorts). I religiously fill its fuel tank with Shell 93 Octane and use fully synthetic Mobil110W40 high mileage motor oil. Bose audio system is awesome and the only thing bad is air conditioner blower fan which is quite common in old Audis. So far so good for a self paying student."
