The Acura TSX was thoroughly redesigned just two years ago and heads into 2013 with no real changes. The V6 model is now available only with the Technology Package (no more base V6) since most were being purchased that way anyway.
The 2012 Acura TSX sedan adds a new Special Edition Package consisting of several exterior design upgrades, unique red interior illumination, and microfiber seat inserts with red stitching. The TSX Sport Wagon replaces its spare tire with a tire repair kit, greatly increasing its under-floor storage capacity.
Acura's TSX competes in the bustling compact premium sedan market. Although not as large or powerful as the Audi A4 or the new BMW 3 Series, price, quality and exceptional resale value make the TSX a worthy competitor. The TSX delivers an exceptional balance between ride comfort and road handling, and returns fuel economy figures rivaling some economy cars. If you can live without a V6 engine and the option of all-wheel drive, the well-equipped TSX has much to offer, especially when considering its sub-$30,000 price tag.
