I own this car - My approximate mileage is 168,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "slick 6 spd manual, decent power, good mpg & looks"
Cons: "premium fuel, dash backlight, ...nothing else"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I have loved this car. Bought it with 110k miles on it in Sept. 2010. I enjoy driving and this car drives well. Great power for a 4 cyl. Nice sound system. Somewhat unique to my car, it came with a front body air dam and a rear deck lid spoiler which i guess were add on options back in '04. It doesn't look like the car is almost 10 years old. I average 28-29 mpg. I have had only a few fairly minor repairs: starter, driver door actuator, O2 sensor or 2. The drivers seat heater and back-lights behind the dash buttons haven't worked since I've owned the car but those minor issues probably cost more to fix than it's worth. My check engine light has been going off and on for over a year now from a catalytic converter issue. $400-$500 fix that i'm in no hurry to have done since I can get it to pass emissions. The premium fuel requirement is probably what I like the least about the car. It would be nice to save $0.30 per gallon but it's a compromise."

"My 2006 has 175,000 miles and is still going strong. I'm keeping it until it has at least 200,000 miles. Once in awhile there have been minor electrical issues with the engine light staying on. Outstanding car for the cost!"

"Purchased in 2004, with 20K miles on it. Absolutely love this car. Great features for its time, the car feels high class even in 2013. I feel like the 1st gen TSX is a timeless car. The reliability is amazing, the build quality shows the true capability of Japanese manufacturing. I hope I can go another 100K miles with it! I have the fully loaded tech package model."

"Very reliable.Quality in and out. 27 mpg average mixed driving.Style is still relevant, doesn't look dated. I am disappointed when Acura never offered an All wheel drive TSX.In Ct. snow can be a challenge for this light, powerful car.Must have snow tires. Would look at a Lexus IS250 AWD for this reason."
