I own this car - My approximate mileage is 93,000

Pros: "Stylish, comfort drives like sports cargreat value"

Cons: "big difference between city and HW mileage 17-30"

"I own this car for the past 8 years , no major issues what so ever other than regular routine maintenance , gas mileage great on the freeway and ok in the city. it is lots of fun and speed with control, comfortable and it always looks good, ageless in its design."

Transmission WILL Fail

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 99,000

Pros: "Great styling, nice ride"

Cons: "Worst transmission in the industy"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1

"If you own this car the transmission will eventually fail, leaving you with a $5000 repair. The car is nice looking and a really nice ride, but the repair bill you will be left with will make you question Acura as a "luxury car". A car in this class and price range shouldn't have transmission failures as widespread as the TL. Why all the 2003's were not included in the recall is perplexing."

Great Reliable Vehicle

Pros: "Easy driving, reliable & comfortable"

Cons: "Lights not automatic-doors don't lock & unlock aut"

"I have an '02 Acura that I purchased in '01. Over the past 20 years, I have had 2 new Cadillac's, a Lincoln & other cars & the Acura has by far been the most trouble-free & reliable car I have owned."

Loved my Acura!

"Drove this car for 9yrs. Loved it. Very dependable and so luxurious and comfortable. Put over 200k miles and rarely caused me a problem other than routine wear and tear. Only sold it due to needing an SUV."

I love this car!

Pros: "Good acceleration, handling, smooth ride, reliable"

Cons: "Outside door frame wrap peels"

"I bought my 2000 TL new in late 1999 and have only put 73,000 miles on it because of a short work commute and a hubbie who likes to drive his own vehicle for trips. The only time this car has not started right up is twice when it needed new batteries. It's has great acceleration and handling and is very comfortable to sit in and drive. Being geographically challenged, the Nav system has been a blessing! The Nav is easy to use and delivers me to the accurate location. I'll be sorry to sell it but my nephew is bugging me...he wants it next."

Drives and feels brand new

Cons: "Headlights are expensive."

"Love my 2000 TL. Rarely needs a repair and drives like brand new. Super solid structure. Exceptional radio and great acceleration."
