"The TL 3.2 is dependable, safe, still exciting to drive & has a very comfortable ride. Mechanically: drivetrain, engine, suspension, traction and response has been superior. Regular check ups, I have learned, are essential if you plan to drive your car for years. I have an advantage over most. I have used the same mechanic for years and trust him. He works only on Acura & Honda vehicles and is certified by Honda/Acura. The only downside is the seal beams dull & have to be shined periodically and the clear coat is beginning to flake on the front bumper & roof. This is a relatively inexpensive fix. This Acura has been a pleasure to own!"
"Love this car. When it was time to give up my baby, a 1992 Buick Roadmaster (second transmission went at 197000 miles), I bought a 2008 Acura RL for my wife and I inherited the TL. Fun to drive, great pickup and handling. On the open road I average 32 miles per gallon and at one time got it up to 37 MPG by staying 5 MPH under the speed limit and back from the car in front so I didn't have to use the brakes much. All systems still work so I hope to pass the 300,000 mark in a few years."
"My father bought this car in 2012, and before that it was owned by a relatively cheap man. He didn't take care of his vehicle and never serviced it, never fixed anything that broke, and used the cheapest gas and oil. Now, in 2015, I am driving this car and it is stunning. The interior is amazingly comfortable. I am 16 so I like to have a little bit of fun when I'm driving and this car with it's 3.2 liter VTEC V-6 can get up in go, with 4 other people in the car too. I have some problems here and there with the engine but it's great for the 16 years it's been running. And I only bought it for $3,000."
"I have owned this car for 13 years and has not given any problems. Drives beautifully, quality is better than today's similar model. Hate to give it up, but it's not looking modern anymore. And my grandson needs a vehicle -- giving to him and have bought an RDX. Will miss my car!!!!"
