I own this car - My approximate mileage is 111,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Low maintenance costs, reliable, handles well, fun"
Cons: "Manual transmission"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"This car is so reliable. It requires little maintenance and has NEVER broken down in the 10 years I have owned it. The Acura handles like a dream and accelerates quickly when necessary. The gas efficiency is great especially now with gas prices so high. For me, the only reason to ever sell is an injury that makes using the cluch difficult. If I was not injured, I would NEVER sell!"

"Writing this to honor what has been the best car I've owned to date: 2003 Acura RSX. Bouth the car brand new back in 2004 and I can't do anything other than sing it's praises! The following is the Maintenance that I've had to do on it in 8 1/2 years: - Changed Tires twice - Front Struts Twice - Compliance bushings - Water Pump Thats it! Did the vast majority of the vehicle recommended services at my local Acura Dealer. This car was awesome. Jumping into a new car because while the motor is likely to remain reliable, 15,000-20,000 miles per year on her would probably start to cost a little more money that could go elsewhere - like my new TSX ;-) 3rd Acura - and proud! Saluting the Silver Bullet :-)"

"This car is fun to drive! I've had it for 9 years and it has been remarkably reliable & low cost in terms of maintenance. Plus the mileage still averages about 31MPG! Looks like I'll have to keep it forever -- never have found anything remotely able to match its looks or drive! It's amusing when guys try to get me to sell it in the drive-thru."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 102,000
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "FUN , FUN, FUN! Good gas mileage and performance"
Cons: "Original cost was higher than similar cars"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I could stop here with saying "It's a 6 speed Acura," but someone considering this car might need more info! Dependable and well-made. Costs more than a similar import from other companies, but worth every penny. Mine is modified because my son, a first-time driver, inherited the car. Brass synchros between 2-3 couldn't handle a beginner, but I had the trans rebuilt using the Japanese OEM graphite synchros and no problems (why US versions don't come with the better synchros I'll never know). Very light-weight so gas mileage is good, but my son trades the RSX in for the Tahoe during the winter when he's driving on I-70 next to semi-trucks. Michelins help with the handling in the rain, but I love to drive this car when I can get the keys away from my son. Good gas mileage, comfortable but minimalist interior, and runs no matter what."
