I own this car - My approximate mileage is 136,000

"14 years old and virtually everything works as new. Wife has 08 Maxima she likes the ride of mine much better her low profile tires give a harsh ride and damage easily excellent stereo, heated seats. only wish is my wives heated steering wheel! Handles great, plenty fast. I run it on regular gas, no problems but noticeable drop in performance. I'd love an 05 up AWD one next"

Best car I ever owned

"135,000 miles, nine years old, and it drives like a new car. Anybody who buys this car used for $5-$7K is stealing it."

2001 Acura RL 340,000 miles...

Pros: "Reliability, Comfort, High Quality Interior"

Cons: "Gas Mileage & Takes Premium"

"Still on the original engine and transmission. Only maintenance I've had to do is tires, brakes and timing belt. Smoothest suspension out there! These cars run forever!"

Own IT!

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 182,000

Pros: "Reliability and comfort on the inside"

Cons: "terrible gas mileage"

"I have 182K miles on this and have really grown accustomed to it. I bought it used in 1995 with 45K miles on it. The Acura dealer is 40 miles away (!) and the car gets horrible gas mileage (if I'm easy on it it gets 17 or 18 in the city, maybe 21 on the road) but hey, it has a large engine by today's standards (6 cylinders). I've driven it easily on low-octane gas most of it's life... one just doesn't use the throttle to zoom down the road or around corners you know. Who cares? It gets me reliably from point A to point B. It just gets lousy gas mileage and I want something better! I am searching for a new car now (to get better gas mileage) and dread going to a lesser vehicle. "They don't make 'em like they used to" is really quite true. Oh, and it does wonderfully on the frozen roads here in New England."

Just plain bullet proof

Pros: "Comfort, features, qulaity materials"

Cons: "Maybe a little more power or a little quieter"

"This car is comfortable, fairly quick, and bullet proof. At about 40,000 miles transmission seemed a bit "clunky". Acura replaced it with a new one without question."
