Pros: "Solid and reliable"

Cons: "Gas mileage in town, rear seats do not fold down."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I bought this car new in 2000. I've changed the oil every 4K miles and done little other maintenance. I had to replace the catalytic converter, timing belts, filters, etc. The car is reliable, comfortable, good for long road trips. I would be happy to get a bit better mileage around town, but have accepted this relatively small issue. I would like to add bluetooth capability but there is no available input to audio system."

Pros: "Quiet, great ride, Bose sound - hard to beat"

Cons: "MPG"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"This is an unbelievable car. Great ride, plush interior, quiet. The only surprise was the MPG. I am getting around 15 miles per gallon in the city, but the size and weight of the car which helps with the ride hurts the gas mileage. I don't drive it much so the tradeoff is tolerable. All in all, the Acura is a great car."

"Bought it used with high mileage, put about 30k on it and as it nears 200k the drivetrain operates like new. Can't beat a Honda engine. There have been some cosmetic and minor issues but no mechanical issues."

Pros: "Reliability and comfort in a great package!"

Cons: "Too old to have the new media technologies."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"I have absolutely loved driving this car for the last 14 years. I couldn't ask for a more all around great car. It has a quiet, comfortable ride and handles well. Even at the miles it has on it (208,500), it's still better than many newer run-of-the-mill sedans. It has not had a single major mechanical problem. Other than routine maintenance, the only "odd" things I've had replaced are a wheel speed sensor, a window motor, and the radiator - but all were done past the 150,000 mile mark. The radiator was due to the weld at the neck cracking, which I noticed, so there was no overheating on the side of the road or similar incident. Admittedly, I am shopping for my next car. The down side is that the car being this old, it doesn't have all the techie "toys" the new cars do and I'm wanting them! :-) The bar this car has set, though, is a high one. My expectations may be hard to meet."

Pros: "Looks, luxury, fun to drive"

Cons: "mileage"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I'm 71. This car is by far the finest sedan I have ever owned. Still looks great compared to new cars on the road. I have 122,000 on the clock. The car has not been flawless. The transmission pinion shaft was replaced at 75,000 ($800), and the front anti-sway bar links have been replaced ($300). I now have drops of oil on the garage floor... and my non-professional assessment is rear main seal. Otherwise, routine oil changes. Interior is pure luxury, seats superior to any car I've ever been in. Never yet replaced a light bulb. Plenty of power. Typical of Honda products, it runs at relatively high RPM, so mileage is nothing to write home about. I typically get 24-26 at 70mph, using premium fuel. The original Michilin tires were noisy... the Continental DWS tires now on the car are much quieter. Reliability on the road is very good, I would not hesitate to drive the car coast to coast."
