"I own this model, GS 1994 Legend. I purchased it back in 2002. It had 95,000 miles on it, I didn't bat an eyelash my mechanic for my 89 honda civic told me it was a great car that he'd serviced for years. I became the 3rd owner. Its has served me well. Again the repairs are basic wear and tear items but costly in general. Some unexpected repairs like replacing the antenna, speedometer sensor failure.( twice)
But overall a very good car with rock solid engineering. Gas mileage isn't great but the ride and handling is solid. Many options at this level, auto temp control, cruise, leather seats heated.
No regrets, considering painting it at this point. Love Acura, (Honda forever)!"
"I did a review on Sept 7, 2007. And am just letting everyone know I am still enjoying my 95` Acura Legend. It currently has a bit over 173,000 miles I bought it in Feb 07` with 147,000 and its still running strong, I`ve had no mechanical issues since I `ve owned this car, I did recently have to replace the front axles ($300 job) but other than that, new tires, and routine oil changes
I feel I am getting my dollars worth. I do plan on changing the timing belt and water pump at around 190,000 miles, and found that Acura dealerships in my area want around $900 - $1,000 to do the job. However, a good mechanic who has expertise in Honda`s will do it for around $500 to $600. Yet still its a small price to pay considering this alone can potentially afford you an extra 100,000 miles of driving pleasure. I still love this car. Steve"
"93's had a leather problem.... the seats cracked and wore out within the first year... dealer would not replace under warrenty. Model also seems to go through batteries every two years. Might want to try the gel marine batteries with this car. I've gotten stuck many times when a year old three year battery died."
