Pros: "Looks good and reliable for a 19 year old car"

Cons: "Cup holder obstructs radio."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"My ''96 has almost 174k miles. Bought it in ''98. I live overseas so it lives in mom's garage while I'm away. When I come back I put gas in it and it is ready to go. Got a few dents and chips but drives like it's new except for a few creaks and groans, It has served me and my mom well."

"I own a 96 Integra LS, and I absolutely love this car. With their being so many aftermarket manufacturers, I've chosen tons of accessories to boost performance, and the look of my car. Needless to say, there's tons of bolt on's that you can get, so as to customize it to your liking. So, I have made some modifications to my car, ever since I've owned it, and the car has been incredibly reliable as well. It rarely breaks down, and it's very well built. I have completely taken apart my interior on at least 30 different occasions, for my sound system, and the build quality of the panels is top notch. They always go back to their original position. You simply can't say that about other cars. The Integra is a workhorse, and I could imagine it lasting another 15 years."

Pros: "Mostly everything"

Cons: "Too small for some, opening the trunk was a pain"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Just sold my Integra and felt it would be an injustice not to give it its due. This car was my daily commuter for 10 years, had incredible reliability, was fun to drive around the city and at high speed, and could haul far more than a car its size should (queen futon mattress fit inside?!). Furthermore, it actually rocked in winter with snow tires on. Finally had to sell due to the need for an accessible backseat for a baby, and got excellent resale value for its mileage. This car is a classic."

Pros: "Red line, handling, packability"

Cons: "I wish I had tinted windows, no 6th gear, cupholder"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Great car. I have a 1995 2D LS Manual with 224000 miles and it runs and handles like a champ. -VERY RARELY HYDROPLANES & YOU CAN ALWAYS MAINTAIN CONTROL - Only real issue other than basic maintenance I have had is the main fuel control relay going out($45). Also beware if you live up north, plan on replacing the fuel line and rear brake lines that run down the center of the car- the salt from the road will rust them. -This car still gets 27 mpg going 80+ and I have gotten 31 going 65. -I will admit that living down south without tinted windows sucks, but if you roll the windows down and sunroof, the car air out pretty quick so the AC can do its job. -Excellent storage space; I can fit 2 full sized bikes in the back when you put the rear seats down. -Handles great and continues to surprise me on how well it coorners. -I just wish it had a 6th gear as the RPMs are at 3000 at 65mph -red lines at 7000 RPM -the paint job lasts"

Pros: "fun to drive, sun roof, looks real sporty"

Cons: "a little small for me to get in and out of"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"my 2000 acura integra became a "project" car as my son decided he was too "old" for a small car. At first my thought was to just sell as is but after driving it back and forth to auto repair shops, gave it a good hand washing, vacuum, etc., and i now believe it could sell for the KBB good condition price. reconsidering selling, but at my age, i just dont need another car.. so it now sits in my garage all pretty and clean while i decide what i want to do. But the gas consumption is awesome, has a good get up and go, perfect car for a high school student. I have replaced alot of parts that were just starting to "wear".. have had several offers to buy... my reason checking out KBB is to get a good sales price.. but a great "extra" car."
